Job Description

Safety Advocates are on the frontlines, providing essential support to victims of violence. This role involves helping survivors navigate safety plans, offering emotional support, and connecting them with necessary resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety plans with survivors.

  • Offer emotional support during crisis situations.

  • Connect victims with community resources.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong crisis intervention skills.

  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.

  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least one year of experience working with victims of violence is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or related fields.
