Safe House Support Group

RSA Safe House Support Groups are offered to individuals in emergency and homeless shelters in a virtual format and facilitated by our caring RSA staff. These groups are known as “No Shame Zones”.  The topics discussed help participants to stay in the present, not the past. They learn specific ways to move towards safety in their thinking, decisions and relationships, without having to explore painful traumatic events. Also, group time provides a space to share experiences, practice vulnerability and gain strength in adversity. Joining our virtual empowerment groups can decrease feelings of isolation and distress.
